Alex Tew came up with a truly original good idea: Million Dollar Homepage. A lot of his buyers are not quite as creative as Alex is, but that doesn’t detract from his idea.

I’ve been checking his site regularly since it launched, and I’m impressed by how close he is to his goal. In the beginning, I wasn’t sure if he would make it all the way. At this point, I’m convinced he will.

Anyway, in the spirit of million dollar ideas, Alexa (Alex…Alexa…coincidence, or….??? :-) introduced a powerful new product: Alexa Web Search Platform.

2) Processing and storage
3) Cheap

It’s a significant shifting point in the internet industry; a gateway to a farm of “up next” companies.

There are at least a handful of million dollar ideas in there. And much, much more.

Thank you, Alexa/Amazon. You are my new obsession.
